Ivan Yanakov in Concert: A Bali Children Foundation Fundraiser at Padma Resort Legian

On Saturday, 3 October 2026, A Night With Purpose will unfold in the Plumeria Grand Ballroom, Padma Resort Legian. This magical evening is a one-of-a-kind fundraising dinner for Bali Children Foundation, a gala dinner and concert featuring internationally-acclaimed pianist, Ivan Yanakov.

This will be an evening of elegance, featuring wines and canapés, a seated dinner in the ballroom, accompanied by the world-class piano recital. Ivan Yanakov, also an acclaimed conductor, has performed in more than 3o countries, and most recently recorded Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the London Symphony Orchestra. The musician returns to Bali for this special occasion, bringing with him a musical programme inspired by his Bulgarian roots, set to perform works by Dobrinka Tabakova and Pancho Vladigerov, as well as more recognisable pieces from Chopin, Gershwin and Rachmaninoff.

Of course, A Night With Purpose is centred on raising funds for Bali Children Foundation, namely youth empowerment programmes in North Bali, including the development of the Angela Wheelton Youth Centre, named after BCF’s late Australian Director.

A fundraising auction will also take place during the evening, featuring five-star stays across Bali and Indonesia, and other prizes, the proceeds of which will also go towards BCF’s ongoing programmes.

Together, the event will feature outstanding music, dining and fundraising opportunities to support one of Bali’s most important and longstanding charitable foundations.
