Brunch Series: W Bali – Seminyak x MASONRY

On Sunday, 30 August 2026, W Bali – Seminyak gets a fire-led twist as MASONRY joins the popular Brunch Series at Starfish Bloo for a one-day culinary collaboration by the sea.

Known for its wood-fired approach and Mediterranean-inspired cooking, MASONRY brings a selection of signature dishes to W Bali’s lively Sunday gathering, pairing bold flavours and quality produce with the unmistakable character that comes from cooking over fire.

The collaboration features a tempting line-up, from Whole Rolled Pork Loin served with green harissa and pickled onion to Roasted Barramundi Fillet with Sauce Grenobloise, finished with burnt butter, capers, herbs, lemon and croutons. A refreshing Watermelon Salad combines Persian feta, black olives, roasted onion and basil, while Potato Gratin brings together caramelised fennel and cheddar for a rich, comforting finish.

At the helm is Group Head Chef Simon Polkinghorne, whose culinary career spans more than two decades across some of Melbourne’s respected kitchens. Grounded in fine-dining technique and ingredient-led cooking, his approach at MASORNY is refined yet relaxed, with a focus on premium produce and thoughtful, from-scratch preparation. His experience continues to shape the restaurant’s distinctive culinary identity in Bali.

Set against the ocean views of Starfish Bloo, the collaboration brings together MASONRY’s Mediterranean-inspired, wood-fired character with the vibrant energy of W Bali’s signature Sunday brunch. Expect an afternoon of generous flavours, relaxed seaside dining and plenty to savour.

The Sunday Brunch is held from 12pm to 3.30pm, with prices starting from IDR 950,000++ per person and IDR 475,000++ per child.
