Padma Musical Series: George Harliono & Hera Hyesang Park

The Padma Musical Series returns this December with an evening of classical music featuring two acclaimed international artists: British-Indonesian pianist George Harliono and Korean soprano Hera Hyesang Park.

Returning to Bali following his previous appearance at Padma Resort Legian, Harliono has established an impressive international career from a remarkably young age. In 2023, he received the Silver Medal at the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition, one of the most prestigious events in the classical music world. His performance history includes celebrated venues such as Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Berlin Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal and Suntory Hall, alongside appearances with orchestras including the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Mariinsky Orchestra.

Joining him for the December performance is Hera Hyesang Park, making her Bali debut. A Deutsche Grammophon recording artist and graduate of The Juilliard School, the Korean soprano has performed at leading opera houses and concert halls around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, Staatsoper Berlin, Paris Opéra and Glyndebourne Festival. Her repertoire spans celebrated works including La bohème, La traviata, Don Giovanni and Le nozze di Figaro. Her debut album, I Am Hera, was released in 2020, followed by Breathe, which received the 2024 Opus Klassik Award for Videoclip of the Year.

Together, Harliono and Park bring two distinct sides of classical performance to the stage, making this edition of the Padma Musical Series a notable addition to Bali’s high-season cultural calendar.

The concert takes place on Saturday, 12 December 2026, at the Plumeria Grand Ballroom, Padma Resort Legian. Doors and the bar open at 6pm, with the performance beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets start from IDR 400,000 nett per person, with limited early-bird and student discounts available. Food and drinks will also be available before the performance and during intermission.
