Ubud Open Studios 2025

From 22 to 25 May 2025, Ubud Open Studios (UOS) grants one-of-a-kind access into the top creative studios of the island, who for four special days open their doors to visitors. From painters to photographers, architects to ceramicists and even local dance troupes, this is a rare opportunity to peak behind the curtains of renowned artistic creators.

Ubud Open Studios 2025 marks the fourth year of this annual event, an initiative by Elami Productions aimed at reviving the cultural and artistic focus that first put Ubud on the global stage. Building on the success of previous years, which each attracted over 1,500 attendees, the 2025 edition promises deeper engagement with Ubud’s renowned creative ecosystem through studio visits, artist talks, and live demonstrations.

Over 60 local and international artists will provide exclusive access to their studios for UOS participants, who are free to pick and choose their preferred destinations and visit at their leisure during the four-day event –the ultimate ‘art crawl!’ Visitors are thus granted the rare opportunity of seeing works-in-progress, artistic journeys, archives, and, of course, meeting the creatives themselves. Certain studios will host artist talks and panel discussions, or even live demonstrations, promising an even more immersive experience.

What’s more, a UOS 2025 Studio Showcase, displayed at BIASA Artspace & Nonfrasa Gallery, will be open to the public from 21-31 May 2025 –a collective exhibition from all participating studios.
