IGNITE 2026
On Saturday, 3 October 2026, Green School Foundation’s fundraising gala, IGNITE, returns for its eighth edition. This prestigious annual event is a cultural and culinary spectacle, taking place at the world-renowned campus of Green School Bali.
IGNITE 2026 presents the theme ‘Chronicles of Nusantara’, celebrating Indonesia’s land, traditions and living heritage. As such, the gala dinner’s feast will be curated by none other than Indonesia’s culinary ambassador, Chef William Wongso, known for his expertise with archipelagic flavours and recipes. He will be joined by Chef Jero Yudi from Dapur Bali Mula, a Balinese chef renowned for his traditional dishes using local ingredients.

The Green School Foundation’s mission is to empower the next generation of environmental leaders. Their work encompasses Environmental School Projects, bringing sustainability education programmes to local schools, as well as providing Agricultural University Scholarships for children of farmers, ensuring a resilient future for Indonesia’s agricultural industry. Through ‘Chronicles of Nusantara’, this year’s IGNITE will draw the connection between land and culture – that the rice on our plates, bamboo for homes, fibres for textiles all originate from Indonesia’s diverse landscape and those who tend them.
IGNITE 2026 is not simply a dinner; it is an immersive journey. From late afternoon, after a special cocktail reception, guests are guided through living spaces of craft, art, ritual and Balinese performances, before sitting down for an extravagant dining experience and exciting live fundraising auction of timeless art, craft and experiences.
