IGNITE Fundraising Gala 2024

IGNITE Fundraising Gala, the Green School Foundation’s annual fundraising gala, returns for the 6th time on 21 September 2024 to bring positive change through education and initiatives. The Gala raises funds to support the mission of heightening environmental sustainability awareness particularly among the local Indonesian youth. 

With the theme of ‘The Heritage of Royal Balinese Kingdom’, the IGNITE Fundraising Gala will take place at the storied and illustrious Royal Palace of Kerambitan in Tabanan. Guests are beckoned to step back in time and immerse themselves in the bygone regal splendour, with the dress code being formal traditional elegance.

Starting at 4pm until late, this one-of-a-kind fundraiser goes beyond the usual charity dinner. It has been envisioned as an immersive cultural experience, with a spectacular rundown of events that celebrate Balinese heritage, performing arts and traditional crafts, local produce and cuisine, plus an opportunity to let your hair down on royal grounds!

An important fundraising element takes place during ‘The Bidding of the Century’, an auction of unique Balinese experiences, luxury stays and fine arts where proceeds will go to supporting significant educational impacts for young Indonesians.

Under the guidance of the Green School Foundation, these initiatives include developing sustainable projects in local Bali elementary schools, establishing waste management and permaculture centres, funding skill-based training for Indonesian teachers, to name a few. One highlight project is the Agricultural University Scholarship Program, which provides full scholarships to children of farmers studying in the field of agriculture.

IGNITE Fundraising Gala is an evening where supporters, partners, and donors come together and immerse in a beautiful celebration and make lasting impact for Bali’s next generation.
