Path to Sustainable Growth 2026: A Summit Focused on the Future
On 24 June 2026, The Apurva Kempinski Bali’s signature sustainability summit, Path to Sustainable Growth (PTSG), returns for its fourth edition, bringing together headline speakers and panellists to discuss this year’s theme: ‘Regenerate for the Future.’
The yearly summit builds on The Apurva Kempinski Bali’s position as the first hotel in Indonesia to receive GSTC certification; but rather than seeing this as merely a ‘competitive advantage,’ the resort holds the perspective that sustainability is a shared responsibility – for hotels, for Bali, for Indonesia. As such, PTSG has become a forum for shared learning, bringing industry colleagues, sustainability leaders, innovators and organisations together under one roof.
Path to Sustainable Growth 2026
The theme of this year’s event, ‘Regenerate for the Future’, was chosen to symbolise that ‘sustaining’ is not enough anymore, the new goal is to regenerate, to leave things better than they were, not simply minimising negative impact. This is explored across four curated speakers panels, each of which has its own focus:

Panel One: Legacy | Exploring the intersection of cultural heritage and future growth.
Speakers: Wulan Tilaar, Vice Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group; Mita Alwi, Head of the Board of Trustees, Yayasan Warisan Budaya Banda; Anak Agung Gde Rai, Founder of Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA); Heinz von Holzen, Chef-Founder, Bumbu Bali Restaurant & Cooking School
Panel Two: Preserving the Land and Nature | Addressing the critical need for environmental stewardship & renewable energy.
Speakers: Tara Susanto-Joseph, Co-Founder of Bumiterra; Jeremy Cooper, Co-Founder of Beemahoney; Chandra Panjiwibowo, Regional Director of Asia Pacific Rainforest Alliance; Galih Batara Muda, Founder & CEO, Indonesia Coconut Hub; and Bank Rakya Indonesia.
Panel Three: Regeneration | Focusing on technical innovation and industrial transformation.
Speakers: Maitri Fischer, Chief Executive Officer of Eco-Mantra; Jelle Therry, Founder of Urban Nature; Valerine Chandrakesuma, CEO and Founder of WeDoo; Syakieb, Corporate & Brand Communications of PT Suparma Tbk; and Philippe Micone, Founder & CEO of Noovoleum
Panel Four: Preserving People | Centring on human capital, wellness, and social sustainability.
Speakers: Desak Intan, Director of Hygiene, Safety and Sustainability, The Apurva Kempinski Bali; Merta Ada & Nago Tejana, Founder of Bali Usada; Natasha Clairine Mintarga, Founder of Rumah Atsiri Indonesia; and Agatha Anggiya Murni (Angie), Nutrition & Human Performance Strategist.
As can be seen from the speakers and each panels’ subjects, Path to Sustainable Growth 2026 expands its focus beyond tourism to address sustainability across a wide range of areas, from finance to forests, agriculture to engineering, shared cultures to personal development.
