Potato Head Beach Club:15-Year Anniversary
One of Bali’s most iconic beach clubs, Potato Head Beach Club, reaches its latest milestone this year as it celebrates its 15th anniversary. To mark this momentous occasion, the Beach Club will host a night-long anniversary party on Saturday, 26 July 2025, featuring several local favourite artists and musicians.
From June to August, the 15th anniversary will unfold across a series of events, beachside pop-ups, and cultural gatherings that will see collaborators and friends from around the globe join in, share new ideas, limited-edition drops, and special moments with the community to mark the milestone – Potato Head style.
To celebrate both contrast and connection, the Beach Club will host a full-night anniversary celebration on Saturday, 26 July 2025, featuring the likes of White Shoes & The Couples Company, Sore, Diskoria, and Greybox Ensemble, from 5 PM until 1 AM. The following day, a spiritual ceremony guided by Pak Sedana, rooted in the Tri Hita Karana philosophy, will pay tribute to the past and ground the future in Balinese values.
Since its opening along Seminyak’s golden shoreline in 2010, Potato Head Beach Club has transformed from a bold building made up of 6,600 reclaimed teak shutters into something much bigger – a cultural village, an international destination, and a hub where good times meet a deeper purpose.
Throughout the years, the Beach Club has seen an eclectic mix of legends and upcoming icons – from Grace Jones, Snoop Dogg, and Mark Ronson to Peggy Gou, Overmono, and Palms Trax. It has evolved into one of Asia’s most revered cultural stages, where music, art, and community converge. Several of the world’s biggest names have found space here to create: Disclosure recorded part of their album on-site, and the Suites have doubled as music studios for artists like Peggy Gou.
Grace Jones and Erykah Badu’s legendary nights still leave a lasting impression on attendees. The launch of Sundown Circle also redefined what sunset sessions could be, turning the golden hour into a ritual of sound.

Beyond its connection to music, the Beach Club’s deeper legacy lies in community, innovation, and environmental regeneration. Today, Desa Potato Head features two design-led hotels, a subterranean nightclub, a zero-waste restaurant, and plant-powered ‘farmacy’. As of 2025, it has reduced its landfill waste to just 0.5%.
Looking ahead, Potato Head enters a new chapter of circular innovation. Spearheaded by Chef Felix Schoener, its newest culinary programme will turn food by-products into indulgent new creations to source 25% of its ingredients from what would once have gone to waste. A new menu, launching this month across food and drinks, brings that philosophy to life: responsibly sourced, flavour-packed, and designed to reduce impact.

On its fifteen-year run, Potato Head remains one of the most influential hospitality concepts in the world. What started as an audacious beachfront vision has become a new type of blueprint, where sustainability, creativity, and cultural exchange are beyond ideals but everyday practice.
