Steps of Hope: Breast Cancer Charity Walk

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as ‘Pinktober’, a global health campaign that draws crucial attention to this life-threatening disease, promotes education, and encourages early detection. Bali Pink Foundation invites you to join its fundraising charity walk on Saturday, 17 October 2026. 

Founded in 2013 by breast cancer survivor Gaye Warren, Bali Pink Ribbon Foundation has since screened and provided treatment to thousands of women across Indonesia. Throughout the year, the foundation organises regular breast cancer awareness programmes and breast screenings for local communities in Bali and beyond.

‘Steps of Hope’, in collaboration with Sudamala Resort Sanur, is the foundation’s annual fundraising event. This ‘Pink Charity Fun Walk and Run’ brings people together for a morning walk in Sanur, fully dressed in pink, to raise awareness of breast cancer in solidarity with the foundation and other survivors.

After the walk, participants can enjoy activities and refreshments back at the resort, where a free breast cancer screening is also available. As a fundraiser, it will also have a lucky draw, raising further crucial funding for the foundation’s ongoing efforts.

The Pink Charity Fun Walk starts at 6.30 AM, priced at IDR 200.000 per person, including a pink T-shirt to wear on the day.
