The Sungai Watch Charity Exhibition: SUN.CONTEMPORARY x SHELTER
SUN.CONTEMPORARY and SHELTER are launching a four-part event series in early 2025, kicking off with The Sungai Watch Charity Exhibition—a powerful fusion of art and environmental advocacy. Opening on 23 February 2025, this fundraiser unites 21 local and international artists in a creative dialogue on sustainability.
The exhibition space will also feature a Sungai Watch installation that provides visitors with a visual narrative about environmental conservation and the power of collective action. Meanwhile commissioned works by Ricky Lee Gordon and Ines Katamso will be featured for online auction, with 100% of auction proceeds going to support Sungai Watch’s mission to protect and restore Indonesia’s waterways.
SHELTER will donate 10% of all F&B revenue, while SUN.CONTEMPORARY and participating artists will contribute 10% of all artwork sales to Sungai Watch’s conservation efforts. The exhibition space will also showcase an immersive Sungai Watch installation, highlighting the urgency of environmental action.

9 March | Plastic Workshop – A hands-on experience in creative reuse for adults & children.
22 March | Art + Activism Talk – A World Water Day special featuring Sungai Watch founders.
2-3 May | At The Table – An intimate dining experience by Chef Stephen Moore, paired with live performances.
Tickets for the above events will be available for purchase, with a portion of sales benefiting Sungai Watch.
