Perched on the enchanting hilltop of Lodtunduh village, Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali makes for the perfect setting for the upcoming jazz event, which will feature a spellbinding performance by the legendary Balinese guitarist, Balawan, together with his group, Batuan Ethnic Fusion. The event will treat guests to an unforgettable evening of music and buffet dinner, paying tribute to the fusion of traditional and modern sounds.

Taking place on Saturday, 6 September 2025, which coincides with the Balinese Sarasvati Day, the event holds special significance. A pioneer of ethnic fusion music in Indonesia, Balawan sees a profound connection between music and the celebration of knowledge, which ties in to Sarasvati, the goddess of knowledge. During his previous performances at the Sthala Ubud Village Jazz Festival, he hinted that he would bring his unique five-neck guitar to the show, promising to deliver an amazing showcase of his masterful technique.

On top of the captivating performance by Balawan and Batuan Ethnic Fusion, guests will be served a sumptuous buffet curated by the resort’s Executive Chef Aris Supriyanto. The menu has been carefully curated to diverse palates, showcasing a delectable blend of Western and traditional Indonesian cuisine.
