Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

Petitenget’s dining scene has welcomed a new address for lovers of classic American steakhouse fare with Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, the celebrated Manhattan-born restaurant known for its dry-aged USDA Prime beef and old-school New York hospitality.

Officially opened on 21 August 2026, the Bali outpost marks a long-awaited expansion for the brand, which first entered Indonesia in 2020. Located within Parc Valle Petitenget, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse’s arrival adds a distinctly Manhattan character to one of Bali’s most prominent dining neighbourhoods, combining premium steaks, polished service and a timeless interior.

Rather than leaning into Bali’s predominantly seafood and relaxed dining aesthetic, the restaurant deliberately embraces its New York fine dining identity to distinguish itself in the island’s luxury dining landscape. The warm mahogany wood panelling, patterned tiles and soft ambient lighting are complemented by a dedicated cocktail programme and signature attentive service.

At the centre of the Wolfgang’s experience is its USDA Prime beef, which undergoes a 28-day dry-ageing process wherein temperature and humidity are closely monitored. One of the signature dishes is the Porterhouse, a substantial T-bone steak separating two distinct cuts: the tender Filet Mignon and the rich New York Strip, as explained by Chef Amiro Cruz.

The steak is broiled at an extremely high temperature to develop a deeply caramelised exterior while retaining the meat’s natural juices and tenderness. The steak is then sliced and presented on a sizzling platter, with the bone remaining part of the presentation. It is a style of service that reflects Wolfgang’s philosophy: premium ingredients, precise technique and a sense of occasion.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse has grown from its Manhattan roots into an international restaurant group with locations across the US and Asia. Indonesia has become an increasingly important part of that endeavour, with the Bali restaurant following the brand’s first one in Jakarta at ÉLYSÉE SCBD and Wolfgang’s Teppan at Keraton at The Plaza.

“Bali is an important part of our expansion journey, and we see our presence here as an opportunity to bring the authentic New York steakhouse experience to the local community as well as visitors from around the world,” said Peter Zwiener, a founder of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse. Another founder, Lydia D’Amato, added, “Through the opening of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Bali, we are committed to introducing one of Wolfgang’s signature concepts, dry-aging, while delivering a steak experience defined by the quality and character that have become synonymous with our brand.”

In line with this, Rudy Salim, CEO of Prestige Corp and Shareholder Partner of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse & Wolfgang Teppan Indonesia, shared his optimism about Bali’s evolving luxury culinary landscape: “This partnership reflects our belief that the combination of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse’s global reputation and Petitenget’s unique appeal will make the restaurant a new must-visit destination for anyone coming to Bali,” he explained.

Now open to the public, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Bali offers another reason to make Petitenget a destination for a special dinner. Whether for a classic Porterhouse, an intimate celebration or simply an evening of steak and cocktails, the new restaurant brings a taste of old-school Manhattan dining to Bali.
