On the serene coastline of Sanur, a new dining destination arrives with the opening of Soléa Rooftop Restaurant. Offering the highest rooftop dining experience in the neighbourhood, Soléa brings together Mediterranean flavours and Balinese produce.
Perched on the 11th floor of the iconic Bali Beach Hotel, guests’ eyes will be pampered with views across the coastline and the Indian Ocean as they enjoy their meals. Taking its name from two Latin words: sol, meaning sun, and olea, meaning olive, Soléa serves cuisine inspired by three Mediterranean regions: Southern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
Partnered with The Locavore Group, chefs Eelke Plasmeijer and Ray Adriansyah create the culinary concept designed for sharing with smaller plates and dishes. Among the stars of the restaurant are Scallop Crudo with Ajo Blanco and Roasted Muscat Grapes, Baharat Spiced Beef Tartare with Pickled Peppercorn and Pita Chips, Seasonal Paella with ’Nduja, Salmoretta and Seafood and Roasted Cabbage with Harissa Sauce and Herb Pangrattato.

Raka Ambarawan is behind the selection of Mediterranean-inspired cocktails, from Nile Reverie, combining cardamom-infused Emperador Brandy, Amaretto Disaronno, lemon, egg white and ginger syrup, to Garden of Eden, which brings together Parmesan-infused Ketel One Vodka, parsley, apple and apple shrub. In addition to its cocktails, Soléa also showcases a comprehensive wine collection of approximately 70 references from eight different countries.
Despite being a casual Mediterranean restaurant, Soléa takes pride in its setting, whether it be for spontaneous lunches, leisurely afternoon drinks, or elegant dinners under the stars.
The restaurant opens daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
