Manisan Restaurant (or Manisan Bali) has taken the Ubud dining scene by storm. Found tucked deep in it’s very own square of private rice field, the restaurant pays homage to the country that it calls home; Indonesia.

Through design, flavour, ambience and service Manisan has created a unique dining experience. Unique is a word thrown around all too easily nowadays but Manisan lives up to this description. Whilst the menu was born out of the brains of legendary Indonesian Chef William Wongso, it was conceptualised by owners Michelle Tandaja and Jimmy Gunawan, also the owners of the highly popular, also Indonesia-focused, Alaya Resorts (of which the Ubud property sits next door) as well as the luxurious Dala Spa.

The video below tells you more about this dining destination, straight from the owners’ mouths themselves. [Read our full review at Manisan Bali: Where dining meets design]
