Day Zero Bali 2026: Journey to the Centre of the Universe

17 April 2026 - 17 April 2026
GWK Cultural Park

From the jungles of Tulum to the shores of Brazil’s São Miguel dos Milagres, Damian Lazarus’ Day Zero continues its global expansion, with Bali announced as its next destination for 2026. Set to debut on Friday, 17 April 2026, the inaugural Day Zero Bali will unfold at GWK Cultural Park, where sound, land, and spirit align in a rare convergence.

Day Zero Bali will see a carefully curated assembly of global selectors and live performers transform the iconic site into a living ritual. Grounded in the island’s enduring sense of balance, the 2026 edition marks a moment when Day Zero’s vision fully takes form, welcoming seekers from around the world on a shared journey to the centre of the universe.

Across the globe, Day Zero exists as a constellation of gatherings, each shaped by the land it inhabits, reflecting its surroundings in both form and feeling. Now, Bali takes its place within that constellation as the festival continues its celestial journey – connecting distant worlds through a shared pursuit of transformation, balance, and transcendence.

Day Zero Bali’s music programme reflects founder Damian Lazarus’s uncompromising curatorial vision, showcasing boundary-pushing selectors, live performers, and genre-defying storytellers. The 2026 lineup includes Bonobo (DJ Set), Âme (DJ), Jamie Jones, John Summit, Jan Blomqvist (Live), and Francis Mercier, alongside avant-garde talents such as Acid Pauli, Kitty Amor, Brunello, Meera, and Bali’s own PNNY collective. Additional artists include DJ RYOTA, Satori (Live), Tina Colada, MĪMĪ x FY, and Odyssey Crew.

Festival-goers will experience a carefully guided arc from sunset to sunrise, as sound, energy, and intention shift throughout the night. As dawn approaches, Damian Lazarus himself will take the reins, delivering the sunrise closing set that has become a defining Day Zero ritual.

Rising above Bali’s southern peninsula, GWK Cultural Park anchors the gathering in a space where land, sky, and spirit align. Home to the monumental statue of Vishnu astride Garuda, the 120-metre landmark carries a quiet sense of guardianship, overlooking open skies and distant seas. It is here that sound, intention, and place converge, transforming the landscape into a shared ceremonial experience.

Two years in the making, Day Zero Bali represents the culmination of a global search for a destination that felt inevitable. Guided by the belief that Bali is a spiritual centre where energies draw inward, the event finds resonance on an island long revered for harmony, ritual, and renewal. Building on its origins in Tulum, Day Zero now evolves into a new chapter shaped by Bali’s rhythms and reverence.

Led by Damian Lazarus and his Crosstown Rebels imprint, the event continues to explore the outer edges of underground electronic music, meeting Bali’s growing creative community with intention rather than excess. In partnership with Savaya Group, whose venues bridge music, design, and spirit, Day Zero Bali becomes more than an event – it is a return to source, unfolding beneath the stars as a living, collective ritual.

Additionally, Day Zero Week runs from 14-19 April 2026, featuring island-wide rituals, gatherings, and celebrations. More details to follow.
