Bali’s Annual Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival Announces New Venue and First Line-Up

Gear up for the ultimate summer holiday on the island as Bali’s biggest summer music festival, Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival, returns this August. This year, Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival 2019 will be held at Manarai Beach House for the very first time, with Flume and Grace Carter announced as part of the first line up.

Ismaya Live has announced the return of Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival, which will be held on Saturday, 24 August 2019, at its brand-new home, Manarai Beach House in Nusa Dua, Bali.

Australian producer and DJ, Flume, will headline this year’s Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival. His upcoming appearance at Sunny Side Up will be the first time Flume has ever performed in Bali. Flume took the world by storm in 2016 when his second album Skin was released and won a Grammy Award in 2017 for Best Dance/Electronic Album, in addition to winning several ARIA Award trophies including Album of the Year.

British singer Grace Carter was also announced as part of the first phase lineup. Grace Carter’s journey began in 2017 when she released her first single, “Silence”. Grace Carter became the opening musician of the first Dua Lipa world tour for the European part of The Self-Titled Tour in 2017. Her name soared when Grace finished third in BBC Music’s Sound of 2019 poll curated by practitioners in the British music industry.
