Hundreds of volunteers from across Indonesia are gathering in Nusa Dua on August 8 to visit the elementary schools that are scattered in the area of the island to hold their Kelas Inspirasi, or inspiration class. The volunteers are very excited to welcome back the third chapter of Kelas Inspirasi Bali themed “Inspiring Nusa”. Nusa Penida is chosen due to the island’s geographical location that is separated from the mainland Bali, and that the development on the island is still behind other areas in Bali. Carrying the slogan “I’m inspired, I inspire”, this year’s activity is aimed to improve the standard of teaching and distribution of knowledge especially to children.
Kelas Inspirasi is part of Indonesia Mengajar programme aimed at professionals from various industries who want to give their contributions to the Indonesian education by becoming a volunteer for education.
