Arak Cocktail Week

Islander Collective presents the island’s first-ever Cocktail Week, a celebration from 22 to 29 January dedicated to showcasing the best of Bali’s bar industry with Arak as its central hero.

Through events and venue partnerships, Islander Collective aims to strengthen the local bar ecosystem while redefining how Arak is perceived within the global drinks industry. Celebrated island-wide, the event creates a professional platform that brings together and champions bars, bartenders, local producers, and industry professionals.

Cocktail Week opens on 22 January with an industry sharing session at 45ml, featuring insights from respected industry experts and local Arak producers. The celebration culminates on 29 January – Arak Day – at Spice by Blake, where a special young bartender takeover will spotlight the next generation of Balinese bartending talent.

Rooted in Balinese heritage, Arak represents the originality and purity of the Island of the Gods. This inaugural Week highlights Arak’s evolving role in the modern cocktail scene, presenting fresh perspectives through contemporary techniques, innovative executions, and collaborative storytelling across Bali’s leading venues.
