Fireside and Beach Vibes: Cooking Without Boundaries at Ikan
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali will host a two-night dining collaboration at its resort’s celebrated beachfront venue, Ikan. Diners can expect a flame-ignited culinary takeover that will see culinary boundaries set ablaze as they welcome Australian open-fire dining sensation, Chef Charly Pretet.
Held from 11-12 July 2025, “Fireside and Beach Vibes: Cooking Without Boundaries” will see Chef Charly Pretet of Terra Firma Dining take the reins at Ikan, transforming the beachside dining venue into a stage of wild flame, woodsmoke, and sensory indulgence. The two-night spectacle is beyond just a dinner; it is an elemental celebration of food, fire, and connection. There will be no menus, no rules. Just instinct, smoke, salt, and swagger.

A French-born chef turned open-fire wizard, Charly Pretet, brings over his celebrated Sunshine Coast-based concept, Terra Firma Dining, to Bali for the very first time. Known for immersive, no-compromise experiences built around fire, instinct, and seasonal ingredients, his unique approach pays tribute to the earth, the elements, and the stories with every bite.
“I cook without walls, without borders. For me, fire is where it all begins—the oldest, purest way to cook. I’m thrilled to bring that raw energy to Ikan, blending the spirit of Bali with the soul of fire dining. Expect crackle, char, and a whole lot of heart,” said Chef Charly Pretet, founder of Terra Firma.
Set along the powdery white sands of Ikan, this exclusive dining experience invites diners to gather by the shore, sip cocktails under the starlit sky, and surrender to instinct-driven dishes where no two plates are ever the same. Each evening will display a unique tasting journey, prepared live over flame. Intimate, unpredictable, and unforgettable.
The two-night “Fireside and Beach Vibes: Cooking Without Boundaries” event will take place from 5.30 PM to 10 PM at Ikan Beachfront, priced at IDR 1,200,000++ per person or 14,634 Marriott Bonvoy Points.
