Freedom Summit IV

Freedom Summit, the mountaineering fundraising event, returns this October for its 4^th edition. Held from 17-20 October 2025, Freedom Summit IV will see dozens of climbers, advocates, and mental health heroes unite for a three-day mountaineering expedition across Bali’s three highest peaks: Mount Agung, Mount Abang, and Mount Batur.

While the physical route of this year’s expedition remains the same as last year’s, the mission is more crucial and ambitious than ever: to ensure Bali Bersama Bisa, Bali’s first non-profit mental health facility, can continue to offer free support to those who need it.

In a nation of over 270 million people, access to professional mental health support in Indonesia is limited, even as demand continues to rise. Bali Bersama Bali now supports over a thousand people each month, offering free one-on-one counselling, group therapy, holistic wellness workshops, and tailored rehabilitation plans. Freedom Summit IV is about making sure the facility remains open to serve thousands more.

Offering three divisions, Freedom Summit IV welcomes participants of all fitness levels and backgrounds to join the cause:

• The Mountain Heroes Division is the full challenge, comprising climbs of all three mountains over three days and nights, pushing your mental and physical endurance to the limit. Fundraising minimum: IDR 5,000,000.
• The Mountain Explorers Division is a two-night experience combining community and adventure, featuring a night climb up Mount Agung, lakeside camping with a community BBQ, and a sunrise ascent of Mount Batur. Fundraising minimum: IDR 2,500,000.
• The Base Camp Heroes Division is a community-focused journey including bonfires, live music, workshops, and a final sunrise climb of Mount Batur alongside those directly benefiting from Bali Bersama Bisa. Fundraising minimum: IDR 1,250,000.

Every participant will receive a personalised fundraising page to rally family, friends, and networks in support of mental health.
