MERDEKA! Dinner at Indus

A tribute to 80 years of Indonesian independence, in collaboration with the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, Indus Restaurant presents ‘Merdeka!’, a night that goes beyond dinner.

Chef Kieran Morland from Sangsaka Restaurant will bring his bold flavours to the table, a contemporary reimagining of Indonesia’s culinary heritage. As for drinks, award-winning mixologist Bili Wirawan (Mozaic and Spice) and Indus’ own Kadek Praditya, will shake up cocktails honouring legendary freedom fighters – heroes of Indonesia’s historic fight for independence.

As for entertainment, a unique performance of poetry readings will fill the night with stories and emotion, followed by tunes by Ebes in to the evening.
