Momentum – Dance & Music from East to West
The Bali Chamber Music Players present “Momentum – Dance & Music from East to West,” a concert that brings together the energy of Western classical dance music and the living traditions of Balinese song and dance, in a vibrant artistic dialogue between cultures while placing children and cultural heritage at the heart of the evening.
On Sunday, 12 April 2026, Western classical dance music meets Bali’s living traditions in a vibrant evening, starting at 6 PM. The concert at Dharma Negara Alaya will feature dynamic string works by Johannes Brahms and Ottorino Respighi and more, plus children’s performances by Be Sharp Bali, Suzuki Bali, and Maguru Lagu by Sanggar Seni Dhira Pradiva (Klungkung, East Bali), inspired by traditional Balinese tembang.
“Momentum” is more than a concert, it’s a celebration of artistic connection across generations and cultures. Designed to welcome families, music lovers, and the wider community, the event promises an uplifting and meaningful experience for audiences of all ages.
