Seaside Jazz Mantra at The Meru Sanur

In anticipation of one of Bali’s highly awaited annual music events, Ubud Village Jazz Festival (UVJF), The Meru Sanur is excited to present “Seaside Jazz Mantra”, the official pre-event for UVJF 2025, set to take place on Wednesday, 30 July 2025 at Bali Beach Garden.

If you’re a connoisseur of jazz music, Seaside Jazz Mantra invites you on an enchanting evening of sophistication and indulgence under the starlit sky. The captivating setting of the seaside garden sets the stage for an exclusive event that will showcase a melodious symphony of live jazz and exquisite gastronomy.

Guests will be treated to a fabulous six-course, wine-paired dinner, meticulously curated through a collaboration between Chef Melvin Chou, one of Asia’s youngest Michelin-starred chefs and Head Chef at Terra Tokyo Italian, Singapore, alongside Chef Marco Medaglia, Executive Chef of The Meru Sanur.

Showcasing his modern Tokyo-Italian flair, Chef Melvin’s culinary creations balance clean, precise Japanese techniques with bold Mediterranean influences, resulting in bright, elegant flavours that celebrate both simplicity and depth. His dishes feature seasonal ingredients such as Amela tomato, Hokkaido scallop, uni, wagyu brisket, and white peach.

Enlivening the spellbinding evening will be a live jazz performance by Bojan Cvetković Quartet, a rising Serbian jazz pianist and composer celebrated for his genre-crossing sound and expressive performance style. He’s performed globally with the East West European Jazz Orchestra, appeared at the Made in New York Jazz Festival 2022, and had the esteemed honour of performing at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in 2024.

Priced at IDR 1,500,000++ per person, Seaside Jazz Mantra will take place from 6.30 PM to 9 PM at Bali Beach Garden – The Meru Sanur. Advance reservation is highly recommended due to limited seating.
