SERENADE: An Evening of Singing Strings

On Sunday, 7 December 2025, enjoy an evening of classical music with a fabulous concert by the Bali Chamber Music Players (BCMP), together with world-class guest performers: Gia Jashvilli, Therese Wirakesuma (BCMP Director), Riana Heath and Asep Hidayat. The concert will take place at the Plumeria Ballroom, Padma Resort Legian, a musical event in support of non-profit organisation, Be Sharp Bali.

The Be Sharp programme was founded in Jakarta in 2018 and has since supported hundreds of children to learn a classical instrument with free tuition and an instrument.  The children learn with the Suzuki Method, a philosophy centred on musical learning through family and community support. The Bali program is now in its third year with 25 children and 6 teachers. Meanwhile, BCMP is a string chamber orchestra consisting of dedicated musicians, teachers and students living in Bali. Their mission is to build a following of classical music lovers and promote music education, including the Be Sharp programme.

The concert, SERENADE: An Evening of Strings, will see the BCMP and guests artists performing the ‘American Quartet’ by Dvorak, a collection of romantic melodies, among other pieces. The children of Be Sharp Bali will also treat the audience with their sweet melodies during an interlude of the concert. 

Doors open at 4pm, priced between IDR 300,000 (GA) to IDR 600,000 (VIP) per person.
