Bali Cocktail Exchange

12 September 2026 - 17 September 2026
Various Venues in Bali

Bali’s cocktail scene takes centre stage this September with the inaugural Bali Cocktail Exchange (BCX), a six-day celebration bringing together bartenders, bars and hospitality professionals from Bali, Jakarta and international cocktail destinations.

Taking place from 12-17 September 2026, the island-wide programme moves through Pererenan, Ubud, Seminyak and Canggu, turning some of Bali’s favourite bars and hospitality venues into meeting points for collaboration, creativity and spirited conversation.

Founded by Jas Farras and Vandena Yanarta, BCX was created as a platform for the local and international bar community to exchange ideas and experiences. The programme features guest shifts, six masterclasses, bartender brunches, a cocktail dinner pairing and a two-day Community Village, bringing together industry professionals and cocktail enthusiasts alike.

The exchange begins in Pererenan on 12 September with an intimate eight-course dinner pairing at ORIGEN Mexican Restaurant, featuring cocktails by Jay Khan and Brian Chan of COA Hong Kong, before moving on to Ubud on 13 September. Seminyak takes over on 14-15 September, followed by two days in Canggu on 16-17 September.

For the wider public, the BCX Community Village at Regent Bali Canggu offers free entry on 16 and 17 September, from 11am to 7pm. Expect cocktail and spirits tastings, educational sessions, flair demonstrations, Balinese music and traditional dance, local producers, and the BCX Bartender Speed Challenge.

With an international line-up spanning names such as COA, Penicillin, Native, Hope & Sesame and Salmon Guru Dubai, BCX offers a chance to see Bali’s evolving cocktail culture in conversation with the wider world.
