Fish containers have emptied on the beach of Kedonganan village near Jimbaran, and are transported to the beachfront Kedonganan fish market and other wet markets as well as many, many restaurants and hotels around South Bali.

Many Balinese men set out to the sea during sunset time, and when the tide is low, they go chest-deep in the water to test their luck. The freshest catch of the day will be served for dinner if they’re lucky.
