Imagine lying on a soft bed of sand with the cool ocean breeze blowing against your cheeks as you bathe under the toasty sun of Bali, sipping delicious wine and nibbling on scrumptious canapes. That is exactly what’s in store for you during the Sand Set Wine Ritual event down at the private cove of Karma Beach Bali.
Set on Friday, 21 May 2021, this Karma tradition invites you to indulge in an exquisite pairing of five different wines and five different canapés in one evening.
This edition will feature the following pairings: Nederburg Sparkling from Coastal Region, South Africa paired with Rosemary Flatbread with fig paste, goat cheese, and prosciutto; Framingham Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand paired with Chilled Prawns with Mauritian hearts of palm slaw; Destino Chardonnay from Mendoza, Argentina paired with Smoked Chicken Spring Rolls with asparagus shitake mushrooms, and toasted garlic soy sauce; Framingham Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand paired with Sugar Cane Duck Satay with dragon fruit gastrique; and Durbanville Merlot from Durbanville, South Africa paired with Short Rib Croquettes with truffle oil.
This is how you’ll want to start the weekend, making you go “Thank God it’s Friday!” The event wouldn’t be complete without some lively entertainment, featuring the wonderful saxophone tunes by Jimmy Sax Black accompanied by a live set by DJ Evie.
The Sand Set Wine Ritual will be held on Friday, 21 May 2021, from 5.30pm onwards, priced at IDR 500,000nett per person. Outside guests are welcome and advanced booking is recommended due to limited capacity.
