Founded back in 2020, Kura Kura is Indonesia’s first craft beer in a can. Brewed in Bali, the beer brand’s focus is to bring fresh, slow-drinking beers that complement the island’s laid-back lifestyle, communities and the art of slowing down. Out of their brewery located in the highlands of Plaga, Kura Kura brews high-quality ‘sessionable’ beers, renowned for being mellow and easy-to-drink. They pride themselves on being preservative and additive-free, comprised of malt, hops, yeast & water, nothing more.
The latest Kura Kura Beer perhaps fits the brief better than ever. The ‘Session Hazy’ has the flavour of an IPA but without its strength and high bitterness. The haziness of the beer is a testament to its character, offering a tropical and hoppy profile with citrus notes. At 4.9% ABV, it has a light body and a smooth finish making it very approachable. Full of flavour but easy to drink, it’s a beer that goes well any time of day, any day of the year, a true ‘sessionable’ drink!
Session Hazy is a welcome addition to Kura Kura’s existing range, comprised of Easy Ale, Lager, Island Ale and IPA. The new bright pink can adds to the hues of the beer company’s eye-catching colour-blocked cans, easy to spot at good stores, supermarkets bars and restaurants across the island.
