SoleFamily Presents the Living Legacy Concert

On 1 October 2025, a special event will commemorate the life and legacy of Robert Epstone, Co-Founder of one of Bali’s most impactful charitable organisations, SoleFamily. The Living Legacy Concert will take place in the grand Pendopo Lobby of The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Nusa Dua, featuring Indonesian pianist Ary Sutedja and Greek opera singer Christophoros Stamboglis.

First established in 2011, SoleFamily has supported hundreds of the island’s most vulnerable individuals, providing life-changing support through medical care and transport for the severely ill or disabled, nutritional assistance to impoverished families, mental health outreach and rehabilitation, as well as respite and recovery at the SoleFamily Care Centre. Today, the foundation’s crucial work continues under the leadership of fellow Co-Founder, Sarah Chapman, who worked alongside Robert Epstone for over a decade.

The Living Legacy Concert marks the first anniversary of Robert Epstone’s passing, and is also a fundraiser for the foundation’s ongoing efforts in supporting communities in need across Bali. This special musical event features Christophoros Stamboglis, one of Greece’s most celebrated basses, who has performed at the Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Opera House, and Ary Sutedja, an acclaimed Indonesian pianist and founder of the ‘JakArt Festival’, known for championing inclusive access to the arts.

Priced at IDR 650,000 (Gold) and IDR 550,000 (Silver) per person, the event will begin at 6.30 PM with welcome cocktails and canapés, followed by the concert, which starts at 7.30 PM. Pre-concert afternoon tea and post-concert Meet & Greet are also available at an additional cost.
