As if there weren’t enough reasons to dine in Sanur, Hyatt Regency Bali adds a few more with the introduction of two tantalising dining experiences. The first, a breezy Beach BBQ taking over the sundown hours, and the second, a whimsical Italian market feast set in the resort’s popular Pizzaria restaurant.
Blessed with an idyllic beachfront locale, Hyatt Regency Bali is reinvigorating coastal dining through their refreshed Beach BBQ experience, presenting a new concept that has diners fully immersed in the coastal environment.
Beginning at 6.30 pm, as the sun sets across the island, the beachfront transforms into a sprawling feast with live cooking stations, barbecue fire pits and an expansive buffet selection set directly on the sands of Sanur Beach. Guests are enticed to explore the varied selection of fire-flavoured dishes and delicacies just metres away from the sea – the ultimate island dining experience.
The Beach BBQ takes place for evenings a week, with each evening presenting a different take on the barbecue concept. On Sundays and Mondays, it’s the Nusantara BBQ, where grilled specialties from across the Indonesian archipelago are served up, offering a taste of the rich regional flavours from Bali and beyond. On Wednesdays and Fridays, Island Fire and Surf BBQ themes highlight the best of land and sea, where premium seafood and succulent meats are brought to the grill. Bold flavours cooked on open flames.
Beyond enjoying flame-grilled flavours, the Beach BBQ is also about creating an opportunity for guests to enjoy Sanur’s coastal charm, with an intimate atmosphere defined by the fire pits lighting the beachfront, the sound of the waves washing against the shore, and the gentle ocean winds blowing through. Evenings are elevated by fire-themed performances and entertainment to set the scene.
Beach BBQ Nights are available every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at Hyatt Regency Bali, from 6.30 PM – 10.00 PM.
But wait, there’s more: Italian Kitchen Party at Pizzaria
Saturday nights in Sanur are going to be all about tableside cocktails, traditional risotto and live Mediterranean cooking as Pizzaria presents their weekly Italian Kitchen Party.
The al-fresco restaurant overlooking the beach is Hyatt Regency Bali’s signature dining destination, best known for its legendary Sunday Brunch – but with this new experience, the culinary enjoyment is spreading across the weekend.
Italian Kitchen Party celebrates the Italian evening market, with market-style stalls, live cooking stations and artisanal delights taking over Pizzaria’s kitchen and garden spaces. Guests can move between stations, choosing from fresh pastas and pizzas, deli favourites, Italian cakes and desserts, but the highlight every Saturday is the Live Risotto Show Cooking, whose gradual preparation builds anticipation for the night’s signature dish, with the ringing of bells to signal when it’s ready to serve!
What’s more, cocktails are served at the table, with the bartender trolley mixing up favourite Italian-inspired sips and more; enlivened with a full-on Bartender Flair Show later in the evening!
For families, a dedicated Kids Corner keeps young guests busy with interactive games and activities, allowing parents to relax and simply enjoy their dinner, drinks and conversation.
