Sira Village Brings a New Sunset Waterfront Shopping Experience to Bali

Bali’s shopping scene has entered a new chapter with the opening of Sira Village – Grand Outlet Bali, an open-air retail and lifestyle destination. Developed by Mitsubishi Estate in partnership with Kura Kura Bali, the outlet folds shopping, dining, culture and seaside living into one leisurely experience where retail embraces the island’s rhythm.

Within the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Sira Village combines shopping with the pleasures of an outdoor afternoon, where visitors can browse designer labels, stop for a meal, explore Indonesian craftsmanship and linger by the waterfront at sunset. Its location, around 20 minutes from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport via the Bali Mandara Toll Road and Bypass Ngurah Rai, also makes it a highly accessible lifestyle destination.

Over 100 premier fashion and lifestyle brands are represented across Sira Village, including Marc Jacobs, Coach, BOSS, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Puma and Nike. The outlet also introduces several notable retail firsts, including Kinokuniya’s first Bali store and the Indonesian debut of US-born fashion brand Hazelwood, while Alun-Alun Indonesia showcases local craftsmanship and homegrown labels.

A sunset promenade offers ocean panoramas, with Garuda Wisnu Kencana visible in the distance, while dining and lifestyle venues help extend the visit well beyond shopping hours. Among them is ISOLA, a Mediterranean-inspired Italian cuisine concept featuring a rooftop pool. Cultural programming further reinforces Sira Village’s connection to Bali for visitors, featuring traditional Balinese performances, interactive art activations and community-led events.

For Mitsubishi Estate and Kura Kura Bali, the project presents a broader evolution of Bali’s retail and tourism landscape. “The arrival of Sira Village reflects our vision of creating a destination where global lifestyle experiences and Bali’s cultural identity naturally coexist,” said Tuti Hadiputranto, President Director of Kura Kura Bali. “This is not simply about retail. It is about shaping a new waterfront lifestyle experience for Bali — one that feels open, vibrant, social, and deeply connected to the island’s soul.”

Sustainability is another consideration behind the development. Sira Village is progressing towards BCA Green Mark Gold Certification, reflecting efforts around responsible architecture, operational efficiency and long-term environmental management. Mitsubishi Estate also describes the outlet concept through its “Second Life” philosophy, which seeks to extend the lifecycle of quality products through outlet retail while encouraging more conscious consumption.

“We are thrilled to expand Mitsubishi Estate’s footprint with this landmark project in Bali, a truly world-renowned destination,” said Yoshinori Nakamura, President Director of PT Mitsubishi Estate Indonesia. “Establishing our presence within this prestigious Special Economic Zone is a rare opportunity to enhance our premium portfolio while contributing to the vibrant future of Indonesia’s tourism and retail sectors.”

Now open, Sira Village adds a different dimension to the island’s lifestyle landscape. With the tagline “Come for Island Shopping. Soak in the Island Living”, it is a place for travellers where a day of shopping can naturally turn into lunch, an afternoon by the water, an exploration of Indonesian craftsmanship, or sunset drinks overlooking the coast.
